AutoFlat
Express
AutoFlat Express provides an automated way to import flats and create
SMP sheet metal part models from standard 2D CAD files. Once the flat files
have been converted into SMP parts, they can be processed into the appropriate
NC program to produce the finished parts. The program can be configured
to stop at various places in the process to give you greater control, or it can
be set to process automatically through auto-punching or auto-lasering.

Express

Solutions
This 2D CAD program is the primary design tool for 2D+ Programming. With
it, you can design Special Shape tools, and draw flat parts. Where a third-party
package has been used to create a CAD drawing that is then imported into SMP/IS,
Geometry Solutions can clean-up the CAD drawing and prepare it to become an SMP
part that can then be programmed.

Special Tool
Design
Special shape tools are easy to create and easy to use with SMP/IS. The
program will automatically position the Special Tools in the turret according
to your pre-defined requirements. You can auto-index with any tool since
the software will align Special Tools automatically to the needed angles. There

Nesting
Maintain total control over part placement on a sheet. Parts are
easily flipped and rotated to any angle, allowing placement of any number of
parts on an individual blank. With interactive nesting you can also create
sub-assemblies of parts which can be automatically nested with the optional AutoNest.

Gridding
Allows you to grid out parts on a sheet of material. Once done,
you can see the sheet, clamps, and table travel limits on the screen. You
can check for clamp interference, break up nibble cycles that extend beyond the

DNC
Our DNC (Distributed Numerical Control) program is a stand alone software that allows you to send your NC code directly from your computer to your machine's controller. DNC comes standard with the SMP/IS software package and can be run as a stand alone program on any computer. DNC allows you to pull any of the NC code you have generated with SMP from SMP's database, regardless of its location.
